Neil has been active in the venture capital and private equity industry since the mid-1990s.

Prior to co-founding Arbor Square, Neil had been involved in growing Initiative Europe (now part of Incisive Media), including establishing Initiative Europe Consulting in 2001.

Neil holds a PhD from the University of Southampton, having completed a thesis on fast growth business.
